Apparently the metadata is not refreshing the information and our dimension, stage and fact tables seem to continue pointing to the load objects using the old name. <br>Needless to say that it is a painful process every time we have to regenerate a procedure, since we have to manually correct all the table references in the script. <br>The wizards are not properly working anymore, since they use the information from the outdated metadata with the old names.<br><br>Is there a way to update this metadata once and for all?<br><br>Thanks,&nbsp;]]>

This ocurrs even if I drop and recreate the cube database in the destination environment.&nbsp; An example of the problem (after adding db, data source, dsv and several of the dimensions):<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Failed. Unhandled exception in dimension end_date update.<BR>Errors in the metadata manager. The cube with the ID of 'cube_contract_reporting', Name of 'cube_contract_reporting' was invalidated by operations in the transaction.<BR>Errors in the metadata manager. The measure group with the ID of 'cube_contract_reportin<BR>Shared dimension add has failed.<BR></DIV><DIV>A RED meta data check does not show any problems and the hierarchies and dimensions look fine in the RED interface (ie consecutive level numbers, and no funny characters).&nbsp; </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The work around is to edit the cube in destination environment using RED, delete the failing hierarchy and recreate it or add from source dimension (sometimes one works, sometimes the other).&nbsp; </DIV>]]>
