WhereScape RED v6.8.5 and WhereScape 3D v2.5 can now integrate into Teradata Cloud’s analytics-as-a-service solution speeding up provisioning and enhancing scalability, and all provided in a simple subscription model.
WhereScape builds and manages Teradata data warehouses quickly by eliminating complex hand coding and streamlining the loading and transformation of data by automating and accelerating proven best practices. While WhereScape RED builds native objects optimized for the Teradata database. WhereScape RED enables practitioners to access source data from multiple environments, create procedural code, scripts, and tables, build cubes, schedule updates, and generate documentation in HTML format, all while maintaining existing BI front-end compatibility.
WhereScape 3D 2.5, is a brand new version of its data profiling, discovery and design solution for planning and reality-testing data-driven development projects – released Feb 1, 2016. WhereScape 3D enables the automated discovery and documentation of source systems such as operational platforms, cloud databases, and existing analytical and big data environments to improve data quality and accelerate time to deployment.
The main new feature in the WhereScape 3D 2.5 release is the ability to seamlessly promote completed WhereScape 3D designs and associated metadata and documentation to WhereScape RED, by simply pushing a button.
