WhereScape going for gold...and the 2014 Auckland Marathon!

15 September 2014
Philip Rock

Since 2008, WhereScape has been raising money for cancer charities.

Committed to help improve the quality of life in communities where our customers and employees live and work, and with our long association with running (a popular activity amongst the WhereScape team), our CEO, Michael Whitehead ran the ING New York Marathon to raise funds for the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, in 2011 - where he managed to raise more than $10,000.

Combining our commitment for cancer charities and having a great level of energy for running, this year WhereScape will be wearing the pink ribbon with pride in supporting the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation, and going for gold by participating in the 2014 Auckland marathon.

As we lead up to the big day on Sunday 2nd November, the WhereScape team is currently training well and doing the hard yards - with many of us pushing our own limits to new extremes. With our combined efforts, and your generosity, we can help make a lasting impact on people who face more serious challenges everyday. More than 2800 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year in New Zealand – that’s seven women a day. With your support, we can aim to help save lives, support women and families, and help fund research for better treatment and greater survival rates.

We believe this is a great aim; so, let’s get involved together, and please donate!

Donating is easy: we have just kicked off a fundraising page – please give as much as you can and help WhereScape go the extra mile for NZBCF!
