The existing ADHB data warehouse only held a small fraction of the data required for enterprise reporting. The healthcare funding organization needed to extend the data warehouse in many different areas. Speed of development was a major concern. ADHB’s tight budget meant that deploying extra staff to accelerate the project was not an option.
WhereScape RED enabled the small team at ADHB to quickly redevelop the original data warehouse environment to better support the reporting needs of the organization.
With WhereScape, ADHB can now respond promptly to changes to rules governing health funding and accountability. It can quickly and easily develop additional departmental data marts and data warehouses. Using WhereScape RED, ADHB is now able to take a rapid prototyping approach to evolving reporting requirements. Reports that previously tool days to produce, now take minutes.
