We are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant to support our growth in the Nordic Region, so if you are a problem solver and data storyteller who lives to make things happen, then we would like to hear from you.

What you will do! Your key responsibilities

  • You will present to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
  • You will present creative solutions and alternative ideas to solve current data problems
  • You will identify and present new opportunities for clients’ future data challenges
  • You will break down the clients’ problems into actionable data and insight tasks
  • You will relish the opportunity to translate intricate strategies into tangible actions
  • You will effectively build trust and rapport with clients and key stakeholders
  • You will develop a thorough knowledge of the company and its products/services
  • You will use initiative; you have the ability to work flexibly in a team, working comfortably without direct supervision
  • You will have personal accountability and enthusiasm to develop your own projects and take ownership

Experience and skills

  • You have experience working with customers in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role 
  • You have experience in software demonstration
  • You have worked in data warehouse design and building data warehouses
  • You have worked in data Warehousing Automation Tools/ETL tools in a customer-facing role
  • You have a deep understanding of database platforms (cloud and on-premise)
  • You have a strong understanding of data modelling techniques (Data Vault, Dimensional, 3NF etc.)
  • You have a background in designing and understanding different architectures
  • You are proficient in SQL, structured and semi-structured data

Bonus points!

  • You have experience with WhereScape or other ELT/ETL tools
  • You have exposure to Agile Methodologies
  • You have Big Data/Data Lake experience
  • You have experience in scripting, e.g. Powershell, Python

2. EMEA Sales Admin

Sales administrators play a key administrative role in supporting the sales team and provide an important link between the salesperson and operational departments. Reporting to our Customer Success Manager, they will work in a challenging and competitive environment, processing sales-related paperwork through the use of CRM systems.

Specific responsibilities include dealing with partner leads, monitoring ongoing orders, training requests and diary management. The ideal candidate for the role is an efficient and adaptable worker with good all-round administrative abilities, including a working knowledge of Excel. They must have excellent customer service skills and be good organisers. The successful candidate will have previous sales administrative experience. Pay for the role is in the region of £20,000 to £25,000 per annum.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in SFDC
  • Organisation skills

3. Sales Executives in Nordics (fluent in Swedish and English)

What you will do! Your key responsibilities

  • You will qualify a high volume of prospects in and out of the opportunity pipeline
  • You will identify new sales opportunities using enabled qualifying skills and tactics supported by a structured sales process
  • You will develop relationships and build trust with clients, stakeholders, senior management, and the wider team to support them in defining their aspirational vision for data
  • You will write Bid proposals, deliver presentations and negotiate contracts at the C-suite level
  • You will generate revenue from new and existing customers in assigned territory
  • You will provide continuous verbal and written updates on the forecast, opportunity pipeline and territory plan
  • You will exercise judgment with defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
  • You will develop a thorough knowledge of the company and its products/services
  • You will be a self-starter and self-motivated with the ability to guide, direct and strategically lead others to achieve the desired goals and objectives
  • You will use initiative; the ability to work flexibly in a team, working comfortably without direct supervision

Experience and skills

  • You have a BA/BS degree 
  • You have 1-3 years of relevant sales/ business development experience, preferably in software sales 
  • You have experience and understanding of the Big Data, Data Integration, Application Integration, and Business Intelligence markets. Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Database and/or Business Intelligence software products and concepts.
  • You have experience selling Replication solutions.
  • You have successful sales experience with enterprise software
  • You have a successful track record as a new logo salesperson (demonstrating over-achievement of personal targets/goals).
  • You have experience managing and closing complex sales cycles involving pre-sales.
  • If you have work experience in both an early stage and a large organization is an advantage. 
  • You have a good network of existing senior executive contacts within enterprises in the respective territory.
  • You demonstrated the ability to present effectively and to sell to a technical solution
  • You have strong skills in communication, negotiation, organization and teamwork
