The Course

The main objective of this course is to ensure that the people in your organization using WhereScape RED have the skills required to understand the business requirements and to create or enhance a data warehouse accordingly.

At each stage we will learn the fundamentals of each new topic as well as building upon each of these stages as we progress through to the end result; a typical data warehouse in DB2.

Is it for Me?

The typical student will be a data warehousing practitioner or database developer though it is not uncommon to have purely business individuals or people new to this space on the course.

With this in mind, we will aim to employ business terminology rather than technical terms to ensure a common understanding. However, knowledge of databases and their interaction is a distinct advantage as technical terms will sometimes be required.

Course Participation

The course is designed to be fully hands-on whilst you explore the ease in which you can use WhereScape RED to build a realistic data warehouse for a ficticious Sales Organisation.
